SATURDAY CLUB

Each Saturday there are refreshments, a chance to chat with friends, and entertainment.  The Saturday Club team will also endeavour to arrange transport for all those who need assistance attending.

HOLIDAY AT HOME

Holiday at Home started at STBBC in August 2016 when we created our own little slice of Italy here in Shoeburyness.  We have since had themes ranging from the Caribbean to Cornwall.

For 2025 the destination was New York! Watch this space for details of where we are heading next year. Guests will be invited to join us for a day of entertainment, craft, activities and refreshments. For more information and to book contact the office on 01702 292620 or email events@stbbc.org.uk.

First Wednesday

On the First Wednesday of every month we have a thirty minute worship service followed by a light lunch. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Keep Fit & drop-in

Our Parish Nursing team organise an exercise class run by an instructor from Active Life on Friday mornings (except the 3rd Friday of the month). This is either seated or standing.

Before this we have a Parish Nurse drop-in clinic every week, with the social prescriber available the last Friday of the month.

Parish Nurse drop-in clinic: 10-11am

Exercise class: 11am-12pm - £4 per session

Care home services

Along with our friends at St. Andrews we host monthly church services at Kathryn Court. It’s always a joy! Jo also visits Autumn Cottage regularly too.
