Girls Brigade runs every Thursday during term time
n:vestigate (Reception - Yr 2) 5:00 - 6:15pm
n:gage (Years 3 - 6) 6:00 - 7:30pm
n:counta (Years 7 - 9) 7:30 - 9:00pm
n:spire (Years 10 - 13) 7:30 - 9:00pm
There is a fee of £1.50 for the evening
All leaders are DBS checked.
Our older girls also take part in a GB camp with other GB and BB companies in the area.
Girls Brigade is passionate about raising the volume of hope among girls and young people. We do this by providing action-packed, stretching, fun and safe friendship groups for girls and young women to join.
Our aim, as part of the global GB movement is to see lives Girls’ lives transformed; God’s world enriched and key to this is enabling all our girls to develop their skills, explore Christian faith, make friends for life and encounter the hope offered by engaging with God’s offer for us to experience ‘life to the full’.
At Girls Brigade we do lots of activities such as:

Cooking
Learning about Christ
Making friends
Challenges
Trips
Each term we spend time looking at a particular subject. These include:
Our countryside
Our family
Friendship
Generosity
Love
Caring
Justice
Fair trade
All this goes towards the girls earning badges, which are presented to them once a year at our Awards evening.
