Dr Elaine Storkey  Dr Elaine Storkey is a philosopher, sociologist, and theologian, who has held  university posts at Kings College, London, Stirling, Oxford, Calvin College USA, and the Open University. A broadcaster and writer, she has been involved with BBC and other broadcasting companies for 30 years. She currently appears  regularly on Sunday Sequence on BBC Ulster. Her writing includes eight books and hundreds of journal articles. Elaine is a Fellow of Aberystwyth University,  Senior Member of Newnham College, Cambridge and former Director of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity. She has lectured in Africa, Asia, Haiti and across Europe. Her presidency of Tearfund spanned 17 years and influenced her most recent book, Scars Across Humanity: Understanding and Overcoming Violence Against Women, published in 2015. For 28 years she served on the General Synod of the Church of England and has acted as Archbishop’s adviser, delegate to the World Council of Churches, and on many Boards and Commissions. She received the Frumentius Award in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2011 and the Abraham Kuyper Award from Princeton Theological Seminary, USA in 2016. Elaine is married to Alan Storkey, economist and political scientist and they have three sons, and six grandchildren.

Emma Tryon  Emma is a God loving, spirit chasing travel writer and influencer who is passionate about encouraging people to trust in God fully. After God called her to a place of complete surrender and then sent her to Cambodia to care for orphaned and abandoned children, she knew life would never be the same again. Living a surrendered life is both freeing and thwart with challenge. From the tiniest most tedious details of life to the most epic adventures, Emma has experienced God in every season and he has sustained her through every challenge. God has brought her through everything from surviving a sleepless night with her new baby to surviving a near death shipwreck experience off the coast of Panama.
